PRIVACY

Your information should be treated with care.

Privacy policies are rarely anyone’s idea of a good time, so here’s the useful version: what RingerWorks collects, why it’s collected, and what happens to it.

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Information collected

When you submit the contact form, RingerWorks may collect information you choose to provide, including:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if provided
  • Your company or organization, if provided
  • The type of software help you are seeking
  • The description, requirements, questions, or other information you include in your message

The website may also process basic technical information needed for security and operation, such as information used to identify automated or abusive form submissions.

How inquiry information is used

Information submitted through the contact form is used for purposes related to your inquiry, including:

  • Reviewing and understanding your request
  • Responding to you
  • Determining whether RingerWorks may be able to assist with your project or technical problem
  • Communicating with you about potential or ongoing work
  • Protecting the website from spam, abuse, and automated submissions

In other words: if you contact me about a software problem, I use your information to talk to you about that software problem. No mysterious side quests.

How your inquiry is processed

When you submit the contact form, your information may pass through service providers that support the operation of the website and communication process.

For example, RingerWorks uses infrastructure and security services to receive and validate form submissions and email-delivery services to send confirmation and notification messages.

These service providers process information only as necessary to provide their respective services. RingerWorks does not provide inquiry information to them for advertising purposes.

Email and notifications

After you submit an inquiry, RingerWorks may send an automated confirmation email to the email address you provide.

Your submission may also generate internal notifications so that RingerWorks knows a new inquiry has been received.

Those notifications are used only to help respond to your message and manage the inquiry.

How long information is kept

Inquiry information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain appropriate business records, continue an ongoing professional relationship, or satisfy legal and administrative requirements.

Information that is no longer reasonably needed may be deleted as part of normal business-record management.

Sharing of information

RingerWorks does not sell or rent personal information submitted through this website.

Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to operate the website, deliver communications, maintain security, or perform other services on behalf of RingerWorks.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, or property of RingerWorks or others.

Security

RingerWorks takes reasonable measures to protect information submitted through the website, including the use of server-side processing, anti-spam and abuse controls, and protected credentials for services used by the website.

Please avoid submitting passwords, financial account information, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through the general contact form. If it would make you uncomfortable to see it sitting in an email inbox, it probably doesn’t belong there.

Your choices

You may contact RingerWorks if you have a question about information you previously submitted or would like to request that inquiry information be corrected or deleted.

Some information may need to be retained where required for legitimate business, administrative, contractual, or legal purposes.

Changes to this notice

If the way RingerWorks handles information changes, this notice will change with it. I’ll update the date at the top rather than pretending the page has remained untouched since the dawn of the internet.
